Last week I took a trip to Joann's and found some navy blue jersey knit on the clearance shelf, so I brought home about 2 yards of it. It was going to be a t-shirt (or several), but since I got so much I decided to make a dress instead, which I just finished on Sunday!

This is my new favorite dress. The collar was MURDER to sew, and the inside is a bit of a mess, but that aside, it's sooooo comfy. I can tell I'll be wearing it a lot this summer, and probably through the fall/winter with tights and cardigans. Freaking yes.
I wasn't planning on wearing it without the belt, but it works well without it I think. The silhouette is a little different from what I normally wear, but I'm liking it a lot.
This was also my first time tackling inseam pockets. You can't see them in any of the pictures, but the lining is bright red. O.o
I have a little more free time this weekend, so expect more fun things soon! For now you can admire deleeshus pictures of my breakfast.
