How are you?  It's been too long.  I'm afraid I haven't been a faithful blogger lately.  Disclaimer:  my family and I are in the process of moving to a new house, so things have been way to busy.  I've been having to cancel a lot of plans in favor of painting, packing and/or homework, so posting regularly has gone on the back burner. :(  I am SO glad that Spring Break is finally here, it will be great to have some time to catch up on stuff.
Today I'm sitting at my kitchen table eating lima bean soup and waiting for paint to dry, so to pass the time I made up a rather wistful Spring wishlist.

Edit:  I can't figure out why there are such huge spaces in this post, bear with me and keep that scrolling finger busy. :P

1.  En Plein Air Dress

From Anthropologie

I love this dress.  The cut, the watercolor-y print, the length, the colors, everything is just so refreshingly perfect.  I could picture this with a mustard yellow cardigan and brown oxfords with white ankle socks.  O.o

2.  Pretty Floral Things

Original?  No.  But come on, what's Spring without flowers?

Cucumber Sandwich Dress from ModCloth
I've had my eye on this dress for a really long time.  I'm not sure if it's still available, but I think it would be possible to find a cheaper version somewhere else.  Still lovely though.

Enamel Stackable Flower Rings from UO

Being the oxford junkie that I am, I couldn't resist these:

Meow Floral Lace Ups via Need Supply Co.

I like how the pattern looks more like botanical drawings than an all-over print.

3. Mint Green Pumps

GoMax Ashland 13 Mint Pastel Patent Pumps from Lulu's

There's so much that I want to say about these awesome green shoes that I can't even express with words.  I wish I could find more pretty shoes like this.  If someone knows about a super sekrit magical place of beautiful shoes that remind you of vintage cars and ice cream parlors, take me with you.

4.  More Oxfords...

Yes, yes, I know.  Don't look at me like that.  I have a weakness for funky oxfords.
Aren't these just magical?

Yay Spring!
My paint is dry, so that's all for today, I'll see you later. :)

In Just

Why hello there, long time no see!

Psshh.  So much for having a new post every week.  I've been rather scarce around the internet lately in general, so I apologize.  Things are crazy and hectic and busy over here for a few reasons, which I'll explain later.  For now I'm just going to write a short post to share a lervely piece of poetry with you.  This is one of my very favorite poems, and it's the perfect thing to celebrate Spring.  Also, you'll see where I got the name for this blog.

In Just
by E. E. Cummings

in Just-
spring          when the world is mud-
luscious the little
lame balloonman

whistles          far          and wee

and eddieandbill come
running from marbles and
piracies and it's

when the world is puddle-wonderful

the queer
old balloonman whistles
far          and             wee
and bettyandisbel come dancing

from hop-scotch and jump-rope and

balloonman          whistles

See you later. :)
